Girl Scout Cookies. The single thing in this world I think no one can ignore and for good reason! Samoas are my favorite, so when I came across this recipe from Beyond Frosting, I KNEW it was going to be featured as this week’s Thursday Fat-Day treat!
So, let’s talk baking… This recipe will make six shooters.
– 2-3 C Chocolate cake crumbs
– 6 Samoa cookies
– 1/2 C Chocolate ganache or melting chocolate
– 1/2 C Caramel sauce (I used Smuckers)
– 1/2 C Toasted Coconut
– 1 batch Coconut Swiss Meringue Buttercream
Perhaps the best part of this recipe… layer away however you want! Beyond Frosting recommends starting with cake crumbles on the bottom, then the buttercream, ganache, caramel, and coconut. Topping it all off with some extra buttercream and a cookie. But, if you like one part better, feel free to pile it on.
